Although
most pets are well behaved, not all pets like the grooming procedure and can
become aggressive. Grooming on
the Go reserves the right to refuse
service to these pets.
Grooming
on the Go will not de-matt a dog if the coat is extremely matted. This
causes pain and discomfort to the pet. A shave down is usually
recommended.
Your
pet's safety and comfort is our primary concern. Please advise us of any
allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing medical conditions. Please let us
know of any prior grooming history you or your pet may have found to be less
than totally satisfactory. We want to avoid the repetition of poor or
unpleasant past grooming experiences.
Grooming
on the Go understands some pets are extremely sensitive to certain grooming
procedures, such as nail trimming or ear cleaning. It is not our intention
to cause discomfort to your pet. Although these are routine procedures,
normally performed for the well being of the pet, Grooming on the Go will
not continue with any grooming procedure that will cause pain or discomfort to
the pet. Sometimes, for the overly sensitive pet, these procedures are
best left to the care of a veterinarian.
Grooming
on the Go will arrive as
close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, we will never
jeopardize the safety or well being of our clients’ pets by rushing a grooming
procedure. We will call you and advise you of any change in our arrival time. A
cancellation must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
A
no show policy: in the event we arrive for a scheduled, confirmed
appointment and find no one there to release the pet to our care, an invoice for
$20.00 will be left at your door.
Payment
accepted: Cash or Check. If for any reason there is a problem with the
check a fee will then be made to the client for the correction of the problem.
